Straight Leg Raise Is Part of Our Express Hip Mobility Assessment

Hip Assessment: Test Your Mobility In 8 Minutes

Our Express Hip Assessment takes 8 minutes and will reveal so much.

If you are not assessing you are guessing.

Instead of doing random exercises and just throwing stuff at the wall waiting for it to stick, doing an assessment can tell you exactly what you need to work on.

Originally you might think your hips are tight, but with the assessment, you might learn more specific issues such as:

  • Your right hip has less external rotation
  • Your left hip needs more hip internal rotation
  • You get pinching in your left hip at 90 degrees of hip flexion
  • Your squat showed a hip shift to the right
  • During your toe touch, you noticed your lower back could not flex

This is the best and fastest way to make progress on your mobility and work on what you actually need. Specificity is powerful!

This is how you MEASURE progress. If you don’t even know where you started how do you know you are making progress?

Take the 8-Minute Express Hip Assessment

The goal of a hip assessment is to give you an accurate picture of what you are capable of. When you cheat or compensate, you are not getting the right picture.

We often have our clients and students send us assessment videos or photos with obvious compensations. Here are the common mistakes that we see and how to prevent them.
